Each year, we got together, close shop and head out somewhere for a company outing. A week ago, we trekked out to Tokyo Dome.

It was a packed house and lots of shit talking between fans.

Tigers fans are known as perhaps the most fanatical and dedicated fans in all of Japanese professional baseball. They often outnumber the home team fans at Tigers "away" games. Tigers fans also have a reputation for rough behavior and a willingness to brawl with other fans or with each other, although long fights are rare.


The Giants' main rivalry is with the Hanshin Tigers, a team especially popular in the Kansai region.










We all had a great time just actin' stupid for a day.

The Tigers' fight song can be sung at karaoke bars and at company gatherings, but the best time to sing it is at Koshien after the Tigers have beaten the Giants!
