Fisherman's Wharf.
サンフランシスコを訪れる旅行者のうち87％の人々が、フィッシャーマンズ・ワーフを訪れているそうです。
Can't be in San Francisco and not eat some seafood!
Finally made it for some seafood, Italian style and opted to go for the people's choice. And for good reason too! Awesome service, friendly, low key, amazingly simple food! I highly recommend it as well!
本場のシーフードにありつけて、みんなのお勧めのところに行きました。

Scoma's clam chowder was given high praise in Newsweek magazine.
Prawn Cocktail.
The food in San Francisco is of course magnifique. It's more refined and the portions are more in check with reality. But then again, I went to this seafood restaurant and ordered this oyster platter which resembled a UFO flying saucer from the great abyss!

「旨いＺＩＮ＝クンデ」ですが、今日はソーヴィニヨンブラン。
At $30, this wasn't a cheap bowl of stew, but worth every penny. The brochure includes a recipe for the dish and, with the scallops, lump crabmeat, clams, shrimp, etc., it may have been the best bargain on the menu.
Alcatraz Island.
Lombard Street - Lombard Street is called the most crooked or winding street in America.
you can drive or walk down the one block of Lombard between Hyde and Leavenworth Streets. There are 8 sharp turns or switchbacks in this block. So if you don't want to drive, take a taxi.

Another spot on the radar was THE place for steak: House of Prime Rib. Too big. Too thick. Too fatty. The King Henry VIII Cut was the highlight for me.
I'd lived my school life in SF and I have never been to one of the culinary landmarks of this great city: House of Prime Rib. My friends and I went to over SF for the steak experience of my life. (Helps to know people!)
If you're interested in knowing, this translates to about 4 additional pounds on the scale. I think my verdict on House of Prime Rib is spot on: "This isn't the best steak, but it is my favorite place to have a steak." If you get a chance, try the steak at House of Prime Rib.

Tommy's Joynt a Hofbrau(meat, potatos and BEER!!!) located in San Francisco and was a hangout of Metallica's; it is also the place where Jason was asked to join the band!
