So now that the madness has subsided (for now), we can return to the regular scheduled programming of "TaroInoue: This Is Your Life!"

Recently, I was lucky enough to gather up for Anthony Hamilton performance at the Billboard Live Tokyo.
ビルボードライブ東京にてアンソニー・ハミルトンのライヴ。1ndショウ。
Anthony's live performance is a moving experience. Really a “rockin’ good time” type concert. At the same time a feeling of being a fly on the wall at one of his recording sessions. I’ve always been a big fan.
Highly recommended!
Very organized and fluid. The Billboard Live Tokyo....awesome venue.
ジョージアの小さな黒人教会とか、ニューヨークの町並みとか、ぐるんぐるんするくらいBLACKの文化を感じるライブでした。
やっぱ南部すごい深い。好きだなあ。
Perfection.
メリハリがよく、しかもスムースな構成と、かなり練られた、ベテランの力量が随所に発揮されたステージ。年に数回、チケット代にみ合う公演と思えるステージに出くわしますが、今回の公演はまさにそれといっても過言ではないものでした。楽曲を知らない人でも飽きさせないプロフェッショナルなパフォーマンス。
それを可能にさせたひとつとして、優れたバック・バンドの存在があるります。アンソニーが信頼しているメンバーのようで、その相性もいい。メンバー紹介時のソロでは、愛着ある笑顔を見せていました。また、コーラス隊との掛け合いも楽しげでエンターテインメントをしっかり見せてくれました。ライヴの純粋な部分、音楽で一体感を味わうこと、音楽の楽しさを共有することをソウル・ミュージックから体感出来た一夜でした。

Okinawa is synonymous with partying. You know in other parts of the world, when you party till the sun comes up, it's like a newsworthy thing? In here, it's mandatory.
This is actually what it felt like to be there.
そこにいた時、こんな感覚でした。
Going home at 10am is pretty common for Okinawans. Of course I didn't partake in the early morning reveling...but I did manage to see some interesting things, as here always manages to provide.
The parties are notorious for being over the top and crazy...usually ending up in regret, shame and losing something expensive.
But when in here! So together with everyone, we ventured in the belly of the beast.
やっぱり沖縄最高です。

Restaurant REIMS YANAGIDATE
青山通りを一歩入った閑静な住場所にある『レストラン･ランス・YANAGIDATE』は、フレンチの名手、柳舘シェフが腕を振るうフレンチレストランです。
シャンパンだけでも約80種類の品揃えを誇り、開店以来“シャンパンの充実したレストラン”として注目を集めています。
Oeuf，homard，st-jacque fume en gelee
温泉卵とオマール海老、ホタテ貝、ウニ、キャビアのコンソメゼリー
“Mebaru”poele sauce beurre blanc aux champagne
金沢から産地直送 魚のポワレ シャンパン風味のブールブランソース
Confit de canard avec pommes roties
シャラン産鴨のモモ肉のコンフィじゃが芋のロティと木の子添え
全体的に味付けは濃い目ですが美味しいです。ボリュームもあるのでかなりお腹いっぱいになります。
Compote de fruit de saison et son granit
ソーテルヌワインを使った季節のフルーツのコンポートグラニテ添え
Grand assiette de caramel(tatin,creme caramel, glace au caramel, creme brulee)
キャラメルづくしのひと皿 (タルトタタン、クレームキャラメル、キャラメルのアイスクリーム、クレームブリュレ)
敷居の高い感じは全くなく、どちらかといえばアットホームな感じです。
