WEDS.

August 6, 2010

I had an awesome time! Reunited with some old friends, met new friends, ate some great food, got some good pampering…all in all, a nice weekend.

DearStage.

One of my favorite photos today…

I just liked this photo a lot. Congrats guys!

We all do our respective hustle…but it’s nice to just get together and not really talk about any of that shit yet still have a great time. It’s not always about “networking”. Even though collectively, we could probably do some really ill shit together.

JAM

My friend owns the shops called JAM in Tsukuba that have some of the finest selections around.

COMMUNICATION METHODS.

July 31, 2010

I recently think that I want to have started a Twitter account and I’m really into this method of short burst communications. Many people ask me why I don’t link my Twitter and my Blog. In other words, why don’t I tweet that I just updated my blog. Consider me old school. I feel like different forms of communication should be left separate. I notice many people want the opposite. I see people asking for full integration of their Facebook, Twitter and SMS accounts. I’m not one of them.

Here’s what’s great about Twitter: You have 140 spaces in order to craft a feeling, thought, or visceral nuance. It’s technological haiku. It’s intriguing even to read the tweets of people I don’t know. Here’s what sucks about Twitter: (And I know this is gonna hurt a lot of people) But I hate it when people only tweet replies to other people. Their entire twittering life is having personal conversations with other people. Or people who just throw links as tweets all day. In my mind, if you want to have a conversation with someone, email them! Call them! Need something more direct? Then SMS or AIM them! Twitter ain’t meant for this! Want to share a dope website of something you found online? Blog it! Twitter is like the digital version of PostSecret. Let’s try and keep it that way.

Extremely good…

I gotta admit. I had my doubts. I am old and I did not understand what Facebook is all about. To be honest, I wasn’t really into Facebook when I first heard about them. They’re a lil too craze for me. But since my friend offered to hold account for me, it was almost a no-brainer. They’re a lot better than I expected.

The lady behind the scenes: Akiko was hired as the new spokesperson for Facebook.

Big things from this girl coming in 2011!

And Facebook, I promise y’all it’ll be worth it.

CAFÉ GARB @ MARUNOUCHI.

July 30, 2010

Yukata and Champagne Bar Opening Party.

Cafe Garb at Marunouchi.

If beer’s not your drink of choice, though, you might want to try the Moet et Chandon champagne bar in Marunouchi — and dressed in a style that really fits the Japanese summer.

The Yukata Champagne Bar is, as the name implies, a special concept bar for people in summer kimono. Located inside Cafe Garb and only open until August 22, you can enjoy a glass of Moet surrounded by yukata-clad staff or in a private room. Customers who really enter into the mood of the place and come themselves in yukata apparently also get “original Moet presents”.

The consumer base around the plush Marunouchi area will surely be no strangers to luxury beverages like champagne and this campaign is essentially encouraging a bit of seasonal cosplay when drinking. However, we can certainly see it being a hit with office workers and couples looking to unwind in style.

Awesome sound system..and awesome views.

HONTOSAYA.

July 25, 2010

So first stop was a feast if grilled meats. Here are flicks. Enjoy.

I absolutely say this without a grain of exaggeration that this was BY FAR, one of the best beef meal I have ever had in my entire life including every country I have ever traveled to. Words that come to mind are: Cosmic. Mind boggling. Banoodles. Numbing. Ludicrous. Yeah, that good.

Only the finest beef tongue for myself.

Korean BBQ with Shinta and Tomoko.

Peace and thanks!!!
